• Elsewhere in the CBD, two friends who also have Japanese fine-dining experience have opened Ilza – a casual spot on Little Collins with a fun Japan-meets-Korea menu.
• Guy Grossi has opened Puttanesca at the Clifton Hotel, an Italian restaurant on his home turf in Kew, with a menu that’s all about feel-good Italian eating.
• Thai barbeque spot Khaosan Lane has opened next to the GPO with cocktail buckets, very generous platters, and live music every night of the week.
