Troye Sivan’s fragrance and homewares label Tsu Lange Yor is the first Australian fragrance brand featured in Aussie beauty behemoth Mecca’s Perfumeria platform, available online and in select stores around Australia from today.
The queue snaked around the block when the singer and actor first previewed the brand at Fitzroy gallery At The Above last year. The stylish pop-up was designed by Flack Studio, who also designed the home where Sivan flexed his signature taste on Architectural Digest in 2021.
Tsu Lange Yor, which means “long life” in Yiddish, was independently founded in 2023 by Sivan and his brother Steele Mellet in Carlton. The Rush singer launched the label with three types of eau de parfum that channel elements of Aussie life.
Pool (raspberry, capsicum, tomato leaf notes) was inspired by Fitzroy and Carlton baths and TLY 5755 has notes of Australian sandalwood and Tasmanian mountain pepper. Mecca will also stock the Luca fragrance, Tsu Lange Yor’s range of candles (including Sassafras, inspired by the village in Victoria), and home objects such as a tooth-shaped oil burner.
“We know Tsu Lange Yor will be welcomed by so many as the scent of home, an exploration of our own backyard,” says Virginia Woodger, Mecca’s head of fragrance.
“To be [Mecca's] first Australian fragrance label, and representing all the local and creative people we’ve worked with on such an iconic platform really fills me with pride,” says Sivan.
Tsu Lange Yor is available now at mecca.com.au.
