Whether you’ve got a group of four or 30, this hot new poolside pop-up has you covered. A ticket costs $78, and includes two-hours of bottomless Mimosas, rosé and white wine to go with your three-course feast.

Oh Boy at the Andrew (Boy) Charlton Pool your one-way ticket to summer. This easygoing spot overlooks Woolloomooloo Bay, adjacent to the Royal Botanic Garden. If you can’t conjure a picture of that view, the name references the sentiment – “Oh boy!” – frequently uttered by guests when they step into the venue.

The interior fit-out takes inspiration from the garden nearby, and even includes plants found within 10 minutes’ walk of the venue. Waterside dining is on the menu too, with all the entire menu available to enjoy by the pool via QR codes – meaning you won’t lose prime position when you get peckish.

The morning menu has plenty of protein-packed dishes for those who’ve just hopped out of the pool. Think chickpea and falafel bowls with a poached egg, plus bacon and egg rolls and the venue’s take on a big brekkie. Lunch is veg-heavy with poke bowls and a roast pumpkin picnic plate, while the additions of hand-stretched burrata, a steak sandwich and a spaghetti al nero with cuttlefish ragu.

To drink, you’ll find all the usual cafe suspects. But Oh Boy is also licenced, and between Friday and Sunday Oh Boy’s bottomless brunch delivers three courses with two hours of mimosas, bubbles and rosé.
