Last weekend Wildlands Festival roared into Ellis Park with a line-up stacked of glitzy global names like grime artist Central Cee and club darling Peggy Gou, as well as Grammy-winning local legends RÜFÜS DU SOL. That trio were joined by A$AP Ferg, one of the founding members of Harlem’s A$AP Mob, returning to Australia for the first time since 2020, and other homegrown heroes including G Flip, and the Jungle Giants.
From the mosh in front of the main stage to the queues at food trucks serving everything from Gang Gang pizzas to free Maccas chocolate soft serve, here’s what people were wearing, eating and drinking, and how they were dancing, at Wildlands.
