The Stirling Cellars & Patisserie isn’t your average bottle-O. It has all the style of an LA boutique, and offers a refined menu alongside the typical selection of alcohol.

Owners Brett and Sarah Matthews took inspiration from their travels to eateries in London, New York and LA. The two faces of the business – a well-stocked bottle shop and cafe – are united by a clean-cut, Scandinavian-inspired aesthetic that speaks of homely luxury.

You could probably spend the whole day here. Walk in first thing and grab a 5 Senses coffee and a pastry for breakfast; hang around for a salad at lunch; then relax in the cosy pine-wood setting with a magazine and an Adelaide Hills wine straight from the shelf. If you’d prefer not to hang around, you can take away almost everything.

Once it hits 5pm and the doors close, head home with a drink or two from the bottle shop, which is an official SipnSave outlet. You’ll find an extensive range of local wines and hard-to-find old-world varietals alongside an impressive selection of craft beers and all your go-to brews from bigger names such as Coopers and Little Creatures.

The Cellars & Patisserie is a place for fine food and drink, but also education, with wine, coffee, whisky and gin tastings held regularly.
