Moonlight Cinema at Roma Street Parkland
Yes, you could watch a film inside a plush movie theatre, but nothing quite compares to movies under the stars on a balmy summer night. Thankfully, Moonlight Cinema’s annual pop-up season is back for another round of open-air screenings.
Park yourself on a beanbag or picnic blanket and settle in for a stellar line-up featuring screenings of highly anticipated new releases like Wicked, Better Man, Gladiator II, Heretic, Challengers, It Ends with Us, Deadpool and Wolverine, The Fall Guy, The Substance, Twisters and Kneecap.
Also on the line-up: Mean Girls, Barbie, Inside Out 2 and a special preview screening of Paddington in Peru.
There are also plenty of nostalgic holiday classics to get around like Elf, Red One, Love Actually, The Holiday, The Muppet Christmas Carol, Home Alone, Home Alone 2: Lost in New York, and How the Grinch Stole Christmas.
As always, you can BYO drinks and nibbles or get a spritz (or two) from the Aperol bar. And of course, a selection of movie snacks will also be on hand for purchase including popcorn, tacos, nachos, churros, chocolate, lollies and more.
