Set in treehouse-inspired surrounds and serving organic wine and beer along with vegetarian food, The Tree House is as close to wholesome as a bar can get. You’ll find it behind the Bakery Lane cafe, fitted out with wooden-clad walls, log stools and a swathe of greenery hanging overhead.

On the drinks menu – carefully pasted inside the pages of vintage children’s books – there are a number of organic and biodynamic wines, natural and gluten-free beers, organic sprits and all-natural mixers such as juices and housemade cordials.

Cocktails such as the piña colada are crafted in the same spirit, with fresh coconut juice and chunks of pineapple offering a more natural spin on traditional drinks.

Where possible, the kitchen also uses organic and locally sourced ingredients to craft tapas-style dishes. A number of the menu items are vegan and gluten-free, and are intended for sharing as you cosy up inside the tiny but charming space.
