Clover Neighbourhood Bar
Features
If anyone knows neighbourhood bars, it’s the team behind beloved Brisbane watering holes The Woods and The Oxford Tap House. Community is at the heart of all their venues – they want to know your name and hop of choice.
Like The Woods and The Ox, Clover spotlights craft beer, with six taps dedicated to small-scale breweries. Some are permanent fixtures, while others rotate. You might find interstate producers like Common People (NSW) and Kaiju (VIC) alongside Newstead’s Range Brewing. Guinness and ginger beer are also on tap, and there’s mulled wine in the cooler months.
To eat, it’s pub classics like steak, schnitzels, parmies and friends. Or, there’s the house burger, stacking a Wagyu patty, onion, pickles, tomato, caramelised onions, cheese and Clover’s signature sauce. Snacks might include teriyaki-glazed tiger prawns, fried zucchini flowers and truffled mushroom arancini.
There are two sides to Clover’s fit-out. Think timber, terracotta and leather in the front, and a back area toned in green and white. Like the team’s other two venues, it’s a homey space – one that makes you want to stick around.
