Eagle Bay Brewing Co is fully booked every weekend and attracts a variety of beer-loving customers, from tourists in for a brief beer tasting to larger groups settling in for a long lunch.

The preservative-free beers are brewed in small batches and made with only four ingredients – rainwater, malted barley, yeast and hops, with an added dose of sunshine that powers the brewery. The approachable core range includes a lager, mid-strength, kolsch, pale ale and ESB (extra special bitter). A black IPA and cacao stout are released seasonally.

Regional produce, and that harvested direct from the kitchen garden, are used in share boards including the “beer plate” – bacon and pale ale dip, cheddar, garlic bread, Tokyo crisps, sesame-crumbed pork belly and katsu sauce. There’s also a range of wood-fired pizzas and mains such as duck leg, burgers and fish and chips.

The brewery is situated on a working family farm and offers vistas of the Indian Ocean and surrounding rural landscape.
