Broadsheet is for cities. Since 2009 it’s been for Melbourne, then two years later for Sydney.

One million people visit us every month to find out what’s happening in the eating, drinking, arts and cultural lives of Sydney and Melbourne. But Australia has more than two great cities.

We’ve been on the ground in Adelaide, Brisbane and Perth for some time, and next month we’re launching Broadsheet nationally as we expand to cover these world class cities. Australia’s capitals have exciting futures, and we’re looking forward to telling their stories on a national scale.

We think you might like Access. For $12 a month, join our membership program to stay in the know.

As part of our relaunch, we’ll be adding a significant new feature. For the first time, we’re inviting our audience to contribute to Broadsheet, enabling you to rate and review venues in our Directory. By combining reader reviews with premium editorial, we’re creating a hybrid platform unlike any other.

We’ve built Broadsheet on the quality and credibility of our stories, and we have no intention of compromising. These changes recognise that our readers’ experiences and knowledge have a place on Broadsheet, and will add depth to our coverage.

Venue and business owners will soon be able to update their Broadsheet profiles, logging in to keep readers notified of changes to key details, and to engage with their customers.

More changes are slated for the new year, including a relaunched mobile app.

Broadsheet has become an invaluable, authoritative resource for Melbourne and Sydney. Now, we’re taking it national, and we couldn’t be more excited.
