The giant elephant’s head sitting over the DJ booth of the Hasti Bala Bar truly sets the tone for this extension of The Carlton Hotel. Up on the third level of this ever-growing venue, an intimate-yet-wild, jungle safari theme means this is one elephant in the room that nobody can ignore.

It’s certainly a place for the senses – people tend to walk in, take a slight step back, then crack a big smile as they spy the plush booths, state of the art sound system and, most importantly, the Carlton’s signature over-the-top decor.

Adjoining the Palmz Rooftop Bar and outdoors-indoors decking area, and upstairs from the original gaudy Carlton space, the complex has certainly etched itself a place in the CBD's eclectic bar scene.
