Round and Round
Features
At most record stores, it's easy to flip straight past something you might really enjoy. At Round and Round, this is never a problem. Each sleeve comes with a description, making new discoveries that little bit easier.
Fitted with colourful artwork and custom-built wooden racks, the store sits in a small space on Sydney Road. Jeff Wybrow opened in 2008, and has since enlisted the help of former Toot Records owner Joe Cowan, and local industry lifer, Dave Lang. The three are self-confessed music junkies, each with decades of record retail experience.
Stock covers all genres. There’s a selection of rare titles, from krautrock and stoner metal, to ambient and Italian prog. There’s plenty of classic and local releases as well, but it’s these obscurities that make Round and Round shine.
You can also find styluses, slipmats and cleaning products. But like any good record store, the focus is all on the tunes
