Inside the double doors you’re drawn into the converted building’s airy interiors. Windows offer glimpses of the city skyline, and wine bottles adorn the exposed-brick walls.

The long bar serves crowd-pleasing wines, beers on tap and a glistening vintage Victoria Arduino espresso machine dedicated to house Espresso Martinis. Much of the bar’s surface area is also dedicated to a mighty vinyl collection and some old-school decks. Bar Holiday also offers a down-to-earth menu of Italian classics, whipped together in the small open kitchen. The mainstay casarecce with pork and fennel ragu has made Bar Holiday a local’s favourite for dinner as well as drinks.
