A staff member at Woolworths QV, on the corner of Lonsdale and Swanston streets in Melbourne’s CBD, has tested positive for coronavirus. So too has a customer who shopped at the supermarket chain’s Malvern store on Wattletree Road.
In a statement on its website, the Woolworths Group confirmed the staff member was working in the city store on Tuesday October 6 and Wednesday October 7, and the customer was in the Malvern store on October 6.
Anyone who visited either store on those dates is advised to watch out for coronavirus symptoms. If symptoms do occur, you should immediately get tested and stay at home while you wait for results.
