HyoJu Park, Attica’s former head pastry chef, is bringing her Instagram-only bakery Madeleine de Proust to life this weekend at Maison Balzac in Armadale. Stop by on Saturday or Sunday for citrus madeleines with a thin yuzu chocolate shell, or vanilla and brown butter madeleines coated in caramelised white chocolate. Boxes of three are available for $20.

A wintery seafood feast
This Sunday July 9, beachside spot Pipi’s Kiosk is hosting a special seafood lunch with acclaimed Melbourne food writer Richard Cornish hosting. A four-course meal will highlight catches from Port Phillip Bay, including mussels, baby octopus and snapper. There are two sittings: one at 12pm and one at 2.30pm. Lunch is $165 per person.
