Aussie beauty giant Mecca has unveiled plans for its largest-ever store in Melbourne, which will also be the biggest beauty retail destination in the Southern Hemisphere.
In 2023, it will open in Bourke Street Mall in the former David Jones menswear building.
The store, which faces out onto Bourke Street, will sprawl across 3000 square metres and two levels, offering what Mecca says will be an “unprecedented” beauty experience.

SIGN UPWhile specifics are still under wraps, expect never-before-seen experiences, plus masterclasses, pop-ups and plenty of huge brands (more than 200 – including cult label Charlotte Tilbury, Drunk Elephant, Tatcha, Goop Beauty and Nars).
It’ll be more than 1000 square metres larger than Mecca’s Sydney flagship, which opened last year.
Mecca is slated to open at 299 Bourke Street, Melbourne in 2023.
