Almost exactly a year ago owners Dan Hunter and Julianne Bagnato announced plans to expand Brae’s offering to include six luxury suites on the 30-acre farm property.
Now we can finally have a look inside.
Each suite features a king-size bed, Tait outdoor furniture, Jardan sofas, a temperature-controlled wine fridge, underfloor heating, a cocktail bar, a well-stocked record collection and turntable, plus a bath with a view over the Otways.

SIGN UPThe suites are powered by solar energy and rainwater is harvested. There’s also a worm farm biological waste-treatment system.
As with the Brae restaurant, the design is by Six Degrees Architects. Interiors are by Studio Round and feature artworks by Rhys Lee; ceramics by Cone 11; textiles by Emma Hayes; and custom furniture and fittings by Dave Murray.
An in-room breakfast for two is included in your stay. Expect organic, wood-fired sourdough, freshly baked pastries, Brae’s honey and jams and a selection of local produce from farms nearby.
