Yarra Valley distillery Four Pillars Gin took home the award for International Gin Producer of the Year at the 2023 International Wine & Spirits Competition, which took place in London on Thursday October 19.
It’s the first time in the history of the awards, which have been running since 1969, that the same distillery has taken home the award more than two times. (Four Pillars first received the honour in 2019, then again in 2020).
It’s fortuitous timing for the brand, founded by Stuart Gregor, Matt Jones and distiller Cameron Mackenzie in 2013 and now 100 per cent owned by multinational drinks giant Lion. In December it's celebrating 10 years in business.
