With locations in Collingwood, Richmond, St Kilda, Hawthorn and the CBD, Piccolina Gelateria is getting easier and easier to find. Now, the brand has opened a seventh hotspot, at Chadstone.
Housed in the Social Quarter, the shopping centre’s new $70 million dining and entertainment precinct, the sleek kiosk was co-designed by March Studio and Projects of Imagination.
In a departure from previous Piccolina locations, the store is inspired by the unseen inside of a pozzetti (the stainless steel pots used to store gelato) and the cooling coils used to keep them cool. Made of mirrored stainless-steel tubes, the shiny kiosk is impossible not to engage with.

SIGN UPAll the gelateria’s usual favourites, including pistachio, salted caramel and strawberry are here, along with frappe, Nutella on tap and whipped cream toppings. And of course, there will also be a range of dairy-free and vegan options, making sure there’s a scoop for every sweet tooth.
