Do you work in hospitality? Have you always wanted to dine at Attica, but never quite had the opportunity – or the expendable income?

If you answered yes to both of the above, we’ve got some great news for you.

Once a month, Ben Shewry – chef and owner of the world-class Ripponlea fine diner, and all-round good guy – is setting aside a small communal table and inviting hospo workers to dine for free. The full tasting menu will be paid for by the restaurant.

It’s Shewry’s way of giving back to those who have kept the industry forging on after two disastrous years. “This is a small thank you to all the people working hard every day to make sure the rest of the city get to have fun and celebrate,” the team wrote on Instagram this morning.

To go into the running for the giveaway, join the list online. The Attica team will then email its availability each month, and the first people to confirm will secure a seat.

There are a few restrictions, though: it’s only open to non-managerial workers, there’s only one seat per person and drinks aren’t included as part of the free experience.
