• Charles Duan, the sommelier at Gertrude Street restaurant Gaea and a Mongolian chef, is popping up at Good Measure this Sunday March 10 from 4pm to 9pm. He’ll be preparing a snacky menu including pork belly with mushroom hot sauce and zucchini with umami butter.

• Chef Dan Hunter’s regional restaurant Brae, has become the first in Australia to receive a three-star rating from the Sustainable Restaurant Association, UK.

• CBD wine bar and restaurant Parcs, is hosting an International Women’s Day dinner on Friday March 8 for $155 per person with the option to add matched beverages for an additional $75. The dinner will feature a menu from head chef Amelia Hussey and a beverage pairing from restaurant manager Shahkeal Holdsworth and beverage administration manager, Coralie Gelot. A portion of proceeds from the dinner will be donated to Djirra, an organisation that offers practical support to Aboriginal women who have experienced or are currently experiencing family violence.
