The Fatty 5-0 is one of the most popular menu items at Southside Social: creamy mac‘n’cheese, bacon, double Angus beef (20 per cent fat, cooked medium rare), onions and house-made barbeque sauce. The buns are a half/half combo of Italian-style milk and French brioche. These are the kinds of burgers people travel for.

Even though there’s likely mac‘n’cheese in your burger, you could also get mac‘n’cheese on the side. Maybe some fries, too – fancy (with all the sauces) or regular if you’re leaving room for cocktails with whipped cream and cherries. Lots of people do – it’s the sort of place to go all-out at.

Among all the maximalist items on the menu, there’s a vegan burger and a sweet potato and mushroom burger. Gluten-free options are available on request. It’s important to the team at Southside Social for everyone to feel at home.

On the back of Southside Social’s success, owners Skye Graham and John Jovan opened a sister spot in Windsor called Southside Central. Fitting because if Frankston were to have a Windsor-end-of-Chapel, Southside Social would be it.
