Vincent Design is a family affair. Paul Vincent and his children import quality homeware, bedding, accessories and furniture from around the world to their stores. Inspired by Swedish designs, the store’s minimalist look lends itself to a simple grey-scale colour palette. This is broken up by bold, block-coloured leather bags from New York brand Baggu and bright clocks and stationery from Lexon.

Ladders, shelves and chairs are supplied by Design House Stockholm, as is the concept lighting range. This includes gorgeous caged hanging lights, normally reserved for inner-city cafes. There’s also a range of eccentric bedding designs from Snurk that go beyond traditional patterns. Everything stocked is simple and functional, but with bold and interesting designs. Expect to pay in the mid-to-high price range, but there are some items under $100 if you want to kit out the whole house.
