The Victorian government has announced another round of the wildly popular regional-travel vouchers, 120,000 of which were rolled out in three rounds from December last year.

For those who missed out, a further 80,000 of the sought-after $200 vouchers will be up for grabs soon as part of the new $32.2 million Regional Tourism Support Package. It’s to get people travelling to regional Victoria again once lockdown restrictions ease, and to help operators impacted by the virtual ring of steel recover strongly.

Victorian residents over the age of 18 are eligible to apply, but each household is limited to one voucher for the entire scheme. To redeem it, you must spend a minimum of two nights in paid accommodation in regional Victoria, including the Yarra Valley, Dandenong Ranges and Mornington Peninsula. And you have to prove you spent $400 on that accommodation, plus paid tours and experiences or entry fees to regional attractions – so hold onto your receipts.
