Store 360
Features
Store 360 is in on a tiny strip in the backstreets of Rye. Come here for coffee, pies, toasties and a well-curated range of products from local makers.
Dromana’s Kelter Coffee is the chosen roast, and all the most popular alterative milks are on offer here. If the sun’s out and the front bi-fold window’s open, take a seat among the doggies, browse the boards at the surf shop next door – or drive your car down to Rye’s Number 16 Beach, or to St Andrews Beach in the opposite direction.
Pies and sausage rolls come from Caspers Pies & Pastries, and The Red Hill Baker delivers fresh breads, croissants and pastries daily, which often disappear by mid-morning. So too do the New York-style loaded cookies with assorted fillings. If you see the Caramilk option, it’s a must-buy.
There’s a range of products on the shelves – locally-made ceramics, books, jams and relishes, bouquets from Peninsula Wild Flower, and artisan soaps from Polly’s Farm – that make for ideal gifts or souvenirs.
The back fridge has you sorted for gourmet at-home dinners, with a selection of marinated specialty cuts from Melbourne’s Meatsmith and pre-prepared meals by Foxes Den, including a Japanese chicken nourish bowl and vegan snake-bean curry.
