They’re in the business of misery, but this sounds like good news to us. It’s the band’s first tour here since 2018.

Whoa, I never meant to brag, but we’ve got Paramore where we want ’em now – in Australia and New Zealand for their first tour here since 2018. The pop-punk trio, behind hits like Misery Business, Decode, The Only Exception and Ain’t It Fun, have announced a string of concerts for November.

Members Hayley Williams, Zac Farro and Taylor York released their sixth album This Is Why to rave reviews in February of this year; NME called it “a bold reminder of how limitless Paramore can be”.

The band has played across North and South America already (including two sold-out shows at Madison Square Garden), and even joined Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour for a couple shows.

They’ll be joined by singer-songwriter Remi Wolf, who released her debut album Juno in 2021.

The Frontier Members presale runs for 24 hours from Monday July 3, with staggered start times depending on the show (12pm NZST for Auckland, 11am AEST for Brisbane, 12pm AEST for Sydney and 1pm AEST for Melbourne). General public on-sale starts on Thursday July 6, with the same staggered timing as the presale.

And if you’re out of luck getting tickets, try not to feel these lyrics too much: “Hard times, gonna make you wonder why you even try”.
