The Eras Tour concert film hits different Aussie theatres next week. Get ready to scream your heart out.

Pop behemoth and leader of the girl economy Taylor Swift is set to save movie theatres and Hollywood with the global release of Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour on Friday October 13.

The film, which is already expected to become the highest-grossing concert film ever, will screen across the country – meaning Aussie fans will be able to experience the Eras Tour in theatres ahead of Swift’s sold-out Melbourne and Sydney tour dates next February.

While standard tickets are available, fans can email Village Cinemas to book a private Gold Class screening of the film for $1989 – famously, 1989 is the year of Swift’s birth and the title of her award-winning fifth album. (This might be a steal considering Business Insider reports the average resale price for tickets to the US leg of Swift’s Eras Tour was US$3801.)

The private Gold Class screening comes with Eras Tour branded popcorn buckets and soft drink cups, but the Broadsheet team is hopeful that Village Cinemas will add chicken tenders with ketchup and “seemingly ranch” to the Gold Class menu.
