Affordable snow gear is back. The supermarket’s special buys section unveils 70 slope-ready pieces – all under $100.

There’s snow (pun intended) place like the special buys aisle at Aldi. The centre aisle of the German supermarket chain has offered everything from cast-iron cookware to linen sheets. aThis winter it’s bringing back its snow gear special.

From Saturday May 18, shoppers across the country can snap up 70-items from the winter range. Shop merino thermal underwear and gloves, helmets, thermos-boots and more. Prices range from $4.99 to $100.

The retailer has focused on sustainability this year and is offering more unisex options, making it easier for families to share or hand-down snow gear. Items such as the premium ski jacket and pants are made with 100 per cent recycled polyester outer layers and padding from 75 per cent recycled fibre.
