When Emily Redmond founded Peach Underwear in 2018 she was looking for the perfect pair of undies to wear under activewear. The Original-Rise Cheeky in the now-signature seamless ultrasmooth fabric was born.
The Melbourne brand has grown its range to include a variety of cuts: high-rise and mid-rise have joined the original-rise ranks, and bikini, full-briefs and thongs offer various levels of coverage.
This summer, the brand’s core colours (black, latte and vanilla) are complemented by two seasonal shades: rosewood and spice.
These hues can be seen as a nod to traditionally feminine colours but Redmond always likes to push the boundaries of what Peach Underwear offers its wearers. “They’re modern shades and a little bit earthy but will still slip right into your underwear drawer for everyday wear,” she tells Broadsheet. “When I first started the brand, our tagline was ‘no frills, no lace, no fuss’ and we’ve stuck to this minimalist mindset that focuses on making people feel good”.
Peach Underwear offers its undies and bralettes in sizes XS–5XL. As well as the seamless ultrasmooth fabric, the brand has a collection of seamless cotton pieces, as well as a super stretch fabric that’s lightweight and finished with hemmed edges that promise not to dig or cut into the skin.
