Best Of Europe: Baguettes Made the German Way with Analiese Gregory

In partnership with Holden Astra – 2016 European Car of the Year, we ran a series of European Feasts at the Broadsheet Restaurant. In our new video series, we follow the head chef at Bar Brosé as she pulls together this one-off dinner.

Burgundy is a prestigious food and wine region that Analiese Gregory knows well. Gregory, along with Mike Bennie of Sydney’s incredible food and wine festival Rootstock, put together a three-course menu at Broadsheet restaurant highlighting tastes from the region matched with natural wines.

In the lead up to the feast, Gregory traversed Sydney in search of the finest produce, which we have documented in this video series. Watch and learn as she sees baguettes made the German way at Organic Bread Bar, chooses the best French cheese at Formaggi Ocello, chooses meat cuts at Victor Churchill and selects malt for dessert with Young Henrys.

The video above follows Gregory as she watches bakers at Organic Bread Bar make baguettes the German way.
