Best known for eminently comfy cushions, Melbourne label Hommey has extended its homewares range yet again with a new bedding collection including block colours and signature stripes.
Founded by Justin Kestelman in late 2020, the brand first gained traction with its line of cosy cushions in lush, textural fabrics like bouclé, velvet, cord, linen and faux fur. Then came fluffy towels, robes, throws and slippers; a pet collection; and a kitchen accessories range with tea towels and aprons.
Hommey’s latest product line is all about snug snoozing, with a bedding collection of quilt covers, pillowcases and flat and fitted sheets woven from 100 per cent organic cotton. All pieces are made with a 200 thread count and stonewashed for an extra-soft feel. Sizes range from cot to super king.
“We believe that a home is more than just a place to live; it’s a space to unwind, be yourself, and get extra comfy,” says Kestelman, who also goes by the title of “Chief Comfort Officer” at Hommey.
“Our new bedding collection is designed to provide cloud-like comfort and a playful, exciting touch to your bedroom.”
Hommey’s first bedding range incorporates 12 mix-and-match colourways, including restful neutrals like sage, cocoa and coconut; and signature stripes such as Picnic (red and sky blue), Rocky Road (chocolate and pink) and Wasabi (mint and olive green).
Prices start at $59 for fitted sheets and pillowcase pairs, $89 for flat sheets and $159 for quilt covers. Customisable bedding bundles are also on offer for those who want a mix of colours and patterns.
The new bedding collection is available online and in-store from April 9.
