Our Place’s signature colourful cookware and non-stick titanium pans have been causing a stir in kitchens since the US brand launched in Australia last year. And now your dining table is set to get a look in, too.
The new tableware collection features hand-glazed plates and bowls in Our Place’s signature shades: Steam, Spice, Terracotta, and Char. These ceramic pieces have a semi-matte exterior, glossy interior and raw rim, thanks to a dimensional glazing technique used in the production process.
The range includes dinner, salad and dessert plates, as well as dinner bowls (a plate-bowl hybrid) and soup bowls. They’re all safe for use in the dishwasher, oven, microwave and fridge. And the stackable design, which is centred around the brand’s signature space-saving ethos, means that these pieces can be used to both serve and store food. For example, the plates can act as lids on the bowls if you’re popping leftovers in the fridge.
Durability and useability is also a key factor for the glasses. Hand-crafted by artisan glass-blowers in LA, the colour is infused in, not sprayed onto, these pieces, meaning their vibrance won’t fade. They’re also restaurant grade.
All of the brand’s tableware and glassware comes in sets of four. You can also get a 12-piece starter set or a 20-piece dinner-party-ready combination.
