Lizzo: The Special Tour 2023

In the month of July, we’re usually contending with cold and dark winter days – but this year we’re feeling good as hell about a special guest who’s set to brighten up Auckland for one high-octane show.

Lizzo will be playing at Spark Arena as part of The Special Tour on Wednesday July 26, 2023.

The singer, songwriter, rapper and flautist, the winner of multiple Grammy and Emmy awards, first visited Auckland in January 2020, when she performed at West Auckland FOMO festival.

This time, she’ll be bringing Zimbabwean-born Australian singer-songwriter and rapper Tkay Maidza as her opening act.

Lizzo's hit Truth Hurts landed on Rolling Stone’s list of the 500 greatest songs of all time in 2021, while her second full-length album, Special, was released last year to critical acclaim. Its lead single, About Damn Time, also won the Grammy for Record of the Year.
