This fun rooftop bar puts on not one, but two bottomless events every weekend. On Saturdays it’s serving up a southern-style menu and live tunes. Sundays it’s a plant-based share feast for the vegan crowd.

Menu - Mr Yum

Untied’s rooftop bar feels a bit like a lush Australian backyard. A backyard in a spectacular, modern concrete building that sits neatly in the centre of Barangaroo’s three imposing office towers. Hints of Australian culture inform every part of Untied, but it’s not always obvious.

An unusual colour combination – green for the Daintree, blue for the ocean, rusty red for the dirt in Central Australia – dominates the indoor space. But the two outdoor areas are Untied’s jewels. Low-walled gardens lush with greenery sit amid high tables and stools. Although tall buildings surround the venue, sunlight streams in from the water side.

The menu includes filling small plates and mains to share, served on striking oblong and round plates by ceramic studio Ode. You might find marinated hanger steak tacos; yuzu-cured salmon with a coriander emulsion and parsnip chips; and grazing boards. For mains, it's burgers and salads with plant-based alternatives available.

Joining a list of beers, wines and rooftop-ready cocktails is Untied’s formidable frosé selection. Not only are there multiple iterations to choose from (raspberry and white peach or blue hibiscus, for example), you can also jazz up your selection with a confectionary garnish from the self-serve candy wall.
