The Keystone Group, owners of 17 venues throughout Australia including Jamie’s Italian and Gazebo, The Winery and Cargo Bar, was placed into receivership earlier today.
According to a press release from Ferrier Hodgson, the firm appointed as Keystone's receiver, the decision was made after lenders were unable to reach agreement with the group’s board on key aspects of Keystone’s financial structure.
Receivers will spend the next few days examining the various Keystone venues and deciding on a course of action. Ferrier Hodgson partner Morgan Kelly, the receiver appointed, insists all venues will continue trading as normal.
