Most people look to the eastern suburbs and the inner west for the best cafes around. But if your crew comes from all over, there’s no better middle ground for a weekend brunch than the city centre.

You’ll find outposts by some of the country’s top coffee roasters, not to mention a swag of innovative morning menus to dial up the special occasion vibes. From Circular Quay to Haymarket, these are our favourites in town.
