Tucked away in the backstreets of Marrickvile, Olympic Meats is a contemporary take on traditional Greek grill houses. The menu draws from chef Timothy Cassimatis’s (Barzaari, Kosta’s Takeaway) Greek heritage.
Come for charcoal rotisserie meats – chicken, pork and lamb shoulder – as souvlaki plates or wrapped in wood-fire pita with pickles and sauce. Tiropita, a classic Greek filo pastry filled with ricotta, kashkaval, and tomato, is hand-stretched daily. Plus, a selection of cured seafood and vegetable sides.
The fit-out nods to family-style diners with galvanised steel details and mosaic tiles.
