The Grill is the headline act at The International, The Point Group’s three-part hospitality hub at 25 Martin Place. It sits pretty between The Wine Bar and The Panorama Bar, and brings white-tablecloth elegance to one of the civic centre’s most iconic buildings.

A raw bar and various grills (woodfired and charcoal) inform culinary director Joel Bickford’s menu, which deals in uber-fresh seafood and protein from top Australian farms. This is big-city dining at its finest, which means ice-cold Martinis and a steady supply of champagne from head sommelier Thomas Groeneveld’s wine list to go with your Oscietra caviar and Wagyu.

Geometric marble flooring, glossy joinery and custom furniture are a perfect match for Harry Seidler’s iconic building design, which brings the outside in via the open terrace that wraps around the dining room. This might be The International, but Siedler’s iconic mushroom building looming in the background plants you firmly in Sydney.
