Tino Bar and Restaurant
Park up at this Latin American-inspired bar with a mate, plenty of plates and a Pisco Sour ($15 all day every day) for a solid start to your night. If you want to settle in, there are some secluded booths at the back of this homey eatery – and a number of large tables great for groups. Dimly lit and bearing exposed brick walls, this warm and welcoming spot has something for everyone.
With the menu, chef and co-owner Sergio Tourn pays homage to his Argentinian roots. His signature mole – which features 40 ingredients and takes hours to make – is served alongside roasted eggplant, crème fraîche and granola clusters.
The menu also includes house-made chorizo, a rotating selection of empanadas (with house chimichurri), and eggplant escabeche (marinated in oil, vinegar and spices).
There are plenty of vegan options as well, including pumpkin prepared using nixtamalisation (a common Latin cooking technique), allowing it to maintain its form even when roasted. Once the insides are tender, it’s finished with Inca berry syrup, fried plantains and sunflower yoghurt.
