This Market Lane outpost is right next to one of the Queen Victoria Market’s biggest entrances, off Victoria Street. Given this location’s proximity to the fresh produce section, and the other outlet in the Deli Hall, it’s tougher than ever not to get a Market Lane coffee when doing your grocery shop.

The more Market Lanes the better, we say. Since the first one opened in Prahran (at the market, of course) back in 2011, this coffee roaster and collection of cafes has left a subtle – but indelible – mark on the way we consume Melbourne’s favourite beverage. Market Lane isn’t the only coffee brand committed to ethical sourcing, coffee education, and nudging our coffee tastes away from espresso and towards filter brewing methods. But it’s certainly one of the best and most enduring.

This location offers that same winning combination. Plus there’s pastries from Tivoli Road cakes from Mörk and plenty of brewing equipment to get you started on improving your coffee-making at home.
