Japanese Film Festival 2018
Entertainment
Thu 22nd November, 2018 – Sun 2nd December, 2018
ACMI
Federation Square Flinders Street Melbourne One of the largest celebrations of Japanese cinema in the world – this one’s for the film nerds.
From a niche three-film event in 1997 to a full-blown five-city festival with more than 27,000 attendees in 2017, it’s safe to say the Japanese Film Festival (JFF) is a hit with Australian audiences.
Now in it’s 22nd year, JFF returns in October with national film screenings of the best new feature films direct from Japan, from cult, to anime, to drama and documentary.
This year’s program will include special international guests, screenings for school kids and some 35mm classics, too.
