Thai Afternoon Tea at Dodee Paidang
Basement restaurant Dodee Paidang is known for its street food dishes from all over Thailand. Now its has introduced a Thai afternoon tea set available on weekends, giving diners a taste of smaller traditional savoury snacks and desserts.
The set, priced at $79, is designed to be shared between two people, and features six snacks, four sweets and a pot of tea of your choice. On the savoury side, there are Thai-style bird and flower-shaped chicken dumplings; golden bags (fried pork and mixed vegetable dumplings); crab and prawn spring rolls; and shrimp toast. For dessert, get saneh chan (sweet nutmeg with eggs and coconut milk); thong ek (wheat flour dumplings with egg yolks); mango sticky rice with coconut milk; and toddy palm cakes.
From 12pm to 5pm every Saturday and Sunday.
