Mastercard Serve Festival at Circl

Following the success of the inaugural Serve dining festival in early 2024, Mastercard is proud to bring it back for a second year, in partnership with Broadsheet. Serve 2025 is a two-week celebration of Melbourne’s very best in food, drink and hospitality – all as the tennis brings the city to an excited frenzy. Running from January 12 to 26, Serve once again invites Mastercard cardholders to exclusive events with the city’s top chefs and restaurants, plus 10 special food and drink offers at other venues.

Referred to by its owners as a “wine house” rather than a wine bar, Circl has more than 1500 wines on its 125-page list, and a menu by an ex-Vue De Monde chef. And the team is pulling out all the stops for a special evening as part of Serve.

On Friday January 17, the Punch Lane venue is putting on a one-night-only menu for $110 per person. Expect welcome drinks and snacks on arrival, followed by plenty of food. Some of the dishes on offer are smoked eel tarts with compressed cucumber and horseradish; stracciatella with charred leek and chives; snapper with lobster sauce, sugarloaf cabbage and peas and plenty of roasted garlic butter potatoes on the side. For dessert, you get both a dark chocolate, almond nougat, honey and vanilla ice cream and a passionfruit sorbet with yo-yo biscuit and crème fraîche mousse.
