The Little Mermaid in Concert With the MSO
You can be part of Ariel, Flounder and Sebastian’s world with the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra’s latest cinematic tribute.
The 1989 Disney classic The Little Mermaid is getting the live-score treatment for its 30th anniversary.
Academy Award-winning music by Alan Menken and Howard Ashman (also Aladdin, Beauty and the Beast) – including favourites such as Part of Your World, Kiss the Girl and Under the Sea – will be performed as the film plays uninterrupted on-screen.
The Little Mermaid was the first in a string of Disney hits in the 1990s and brought us the love story between Ariel, mermaid daughter of the underwater king, and Eric, a prince on land, and Ariel's friendship with her underwater buddies who try to help/save her.
Concession and children's tickets cost between $45 and $85 and full-price tickets range from $59 to $115.
