If you’re a bloke, you’ve most likely experienced fashion pop-ups by carrying someone’s handbag around. Courtney Holm would like to change that. In April, the fashion designer held the first edition of Menske, a quarterly fashion and lifestyle event series which (almost) caters for a man’s every need. It’s happening again this weekend.
Want some nice, new threads? Menske’s got it. Jewellery, wallets, skincare products? Furniture or light fittings, accessories for your bike, a haircut? Tick, tick, tick. It’s all courtesy of local artists and designers who’ll be selling their unique wares in person.
Some products to look out for are loose, twisting silhouettes by fashion label tanner + Teague, geometric light fittings in warm metallics by Ben-Tovim Design, custom motorcycles by Leon Mckay, leather accessories by Hecho a Mano Co and Footscray-made utility wear by Kevin.

SIGN UPMenske isn’t only about take-home products. In addition to providing the venue, Allpress Espresso will be offering tastings, Well Sensered a range of food, while The Balvenie Whisky and Little Creatures are putting on drinks. Still not happening enough? Logic Layer and other DJs will make it so.
Menske will be held from 11am–7pm on August 9 and 11 am–5pm on August 10.
