If there’s one thing Melburnians love, it’s a good bakery. While it’s fun to go on a bakery crawl across town, this weekend 13 of the city’s best bakers will be popping up at Fed Square as part of the Melbourne Food & Wine Festival’s second annual Baker’s Dozen event.

The event runs from 11am until 4pm or sold out (the more likely scenario), on Saturday March 23 and Sunday March 24. Bakers will be stopping by with some of their classics, such as Mali Bake’s matcha chiffon roll with sake cherries and white chocolate cream, and one-off creations for the weekend, like the special collab pie between Bread Club and Mauritian wine bar Manze.
