White Mojo Plus+

In 2017, White Mojo Plus+ opened up in Glen Waverley. Unlike its fellow CBD and Balwyn locations, this one’s open after dark.

Those extended trading hours give the newest addition to the chain its own distinct personality. And the menu’s been tweaked to reflect the change to all-day diner, too. Rather than the more typical cafe fare of the other outposts, the feel of the menu here is more reminiscent of what you’d get at a bistro – especially during the dinner service.

These dishes, such as the coffee-cured salmon, with charcoal aioli, sesame rice crisp, pickled vegetables and goma dressing, are designed to exhibit technique and quality. If you’re a fan of desserts, the Forest Floor with gianduja chocolate mousse, raspberry sorbet, matcha sponge, raspberry coulis and chocolate soil is one tor try.

Breakfast and lunch are more familiar. There are White Mojo favourites such the signature Croissant Burger and the Double-Cheese Chilli Scrambled Eggs, with occasional seasonal additions such as Pad-Thai Salad.

Of course, coffee’s still the focus here. The house-blend is roasted on site, letting you experience the roasting process – and its aromas – first-hand. There’s also a rotating variety of single origins.

The fit-out is white and minimal, and the space is usually dotted with floral arrangements. The result is airy and fresh, and the space between the tables is just enough to guarantee privacy without compromising on atmosphere. For more seclusion though, there’s an 18-seat private dining room available for booking.
