After it was cancelled for the last two years due to the pandemic, Laneway Festival is back with a bang in 2023 and has just announced its line-up.

Sister-trio Haim, Japanese R&B star Joji and indie darling Phoebe Bridgers are headlining at Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland’s Albert Park on Monday January 30 – Auckland Anniversary Day.

They’ll be joined by a typically varied line-up that includes Finneas, Irish post-punk band Fontaines DC, British singer-songwriter Fred Again, Norwegian musician Girl in Red, Australian songwriter and producer Sycco, and New Zealand acts The Beths, Erny Belle, Fazerdaze and more.

Aotearoa is apparently due for one of its hottest summers ever, and no doubt it'll be an equally warm welcome for the artists – many of whom have never been to New Zealand before.

Pre-sale opens Tuesday September 27, 11am NZ local time. General public on sale opens Thursday September 29, 9am NZ local time.
