Braddock’s Dispensary
The heritage-listed Braddock’s Dispensary has a history dating back to 1899 as a residence and medicine shop. Businessman Bruce Reynolds acquired the building recently, and though its name hasn’t changed, it has a new life as a cafe, with a few subtle nods to its history.
Coffee is supplied by Toby’s Estate with its Woolloomooloo blend taking centre stage. Organic Whistleblower Tea is also on the menu, including the “Live Long and Prosper” variety that costs $350 a kilo.
Braddock’s has no kitchen but offers a range of sweet and savoury items from the counter cabinet including salads, sandwiches and cakes.
