Naturellement 2025
Wine by the beach is one of the finer things in life. And the return of Naturellement offers that perfect combo in a big way this May. The two-day festival – which debuted in 2021, from drinks lord Mike Bennie and food event pro Kristy Austin – will take over Galleria Ettalong Beach, with boozy tastings, workshops and food cooked by some Aussie greats.
Expect more than 120 tastings poured by more than 30 mostly local producers across beer, wine, spirits and non-alc, plus local importers Giorgio de Maria and Andrew Guard. Dive into drops by Sabi Wabi, Meredith by Mem and Jilly Wine Co, plus Harkham and Vinden from the Hunter Valley. The focus will be on small-batch, low-intervention producers.
On the food front, kitchen talents Alanna Sapwell (The Eltham Hotel), Matt Stone (You Beauty, Ciao Mate) and Jake Kellie (Adelaide’s Arkhe, ex-Burnt Ends) are headlining, sending out specials. Local chefs Nico Coccia and Cam Cansdell will be there too, as will Ash Cotter (Valentina) and Ryde Pennefather (Bar Superette), who are tripping up from Merimbula. Menu details will be announced closer to the date.
There are two three-hour sessions each day, and $55 early bird tickets are on sale now. Your ticket includes entry, free-flowing tastings (and the Plumm glass you’ll be sipping from) and the sustainability-focused conversations program. Masterclasses cost $20, and include Let’s Get Fizzical, Orange Wine 101 and Lambrusco School.
